Yes. The basic version of Mealgram is fully free — meal logging, calorie tracking, macros, water, achievements, streaks. Premium ($3.99/month or 199 PLN/year with a 7-day free trial) unlocks weight goal tracking, daily AI summaries, full history export and unlimited scans.

Tap the camera icon in "+Add" → point the camera at your full plate → AI recognises the items in 5-10 seconds.

Best results: good lighting, plate centred in frame, portion proportions visible (cutlery in shot helps).

Yes — all core features work without internet: manual logging, barcode scanner, Quick DB (160+ Polish dishes), widgets, Apple Watch.

Internet is only needed for: AI photo scanning (Gemini), Open Food Facts (barcodes), iCloud sync between devices.

Mealgram uses iCloud Drive. Check:

• Both devices signed in to the same Apple ID
• iCloud Drive enabled: Settings → [Your name] → iCloud → iCloud Drive
• Mealgram is toggled on under "Apps using iCloud"

First sync can take 30-60 seconds. Data converges automatically — no manual step needed.

In the app: Profile → ⚙️ Settings → App language — choose Polski / English / Українська / Русский / Español. The change applies instantly, no restart needed.

Some system dialogs (e.g., camera permission prompts) will remain in the previous language until you restart your phone — this is an iOS limitation, not ours.

Subscriptions are managed by Apple:

• Open App Store → profile icon → Subscriptions
• Select Mealgram Premium
• Tap Cancel Subscription

Premium stays active until the end of your paid period. No retention dark patterns, no 5-screen confirmation maze — Apple designed this properly.

In the app: Profile → ⚙️ Settings → Account → Delete account. This clears the local database + iCloud data (if any).

Alternative: just uninstall Mealgram — all local data is wiped by iOS, and you can remove iCloud data from Settings → [Your name] → iCloud → Manage Storage → Mealgram → Delete.

1. Force quit: swipe up from the gesture bar, close Mealgram
2. Restart your iPhone (hold power + volume down → slider)
3. Uninstall and reinstall (local data is lost, iCloud restores after sign-in)

Yes — Mealgram is a universal app. Once installed on iPad, data syncs over iCloud so you pick up where you left off on iPhone. The layout adapts to the larger screen.

After installing Mealgram on iPhone:

1. Open the Watch app on your iPhone
2. Scroll to Available Apps → find Mealgram
3. Tap Install

On the watch you'll see 3 colour rings (calories / protein / water) + a "+1 glass" button. Data syncs over WatchConnectivity.

Widgets refresh roughly every 30 minutes per iOS policy. You can force a refresh:

1. Open Mealgram and add a meal (or leave and come back — that triggers a refresh)
2. Or: long-press the widget → Edit Widget → pick another and switch back

Never. Your data stays only with you. But you can export it in readable formats:

• Profile → Your data → Download JSON export — full history
• Export CSV (Excel) — Excel-friendly, perfect for a dietitian
• Full ZIP bundle — JSON + CSV + all meal photos

After downloading, you can send the file via email, AirDrop, or print it.

All ideas are welcome. The best path:

Mealgram is built by a small independent team — your feedback goes directly to the people writing the code. No five layers of support.
